It’s not the 27th, but June 10th will forever be “Drake Day” in Houston.
Drake has officially landed in Houston today to help celebrate the 2014 edition of the H.A.W. Earlier, Drizzy made his way to Minute Maid Park to contribute for the city’s Urban Youth Academy of children in attendance. The 27-year-old entertainer cited Houston being the birth place of his career, which even saw his first sold out show ever just a few years before his career took flight. During the Astros’ home game tonight against the Arizona Diamondbacks, he was presented with an official certificate declaring June 10th Drake Day.
Houston Appreciation Weekend will see Drake participating in various events including charity events, city cleanup, a basketball tournament and a concert Friday night with his OVO and YMCMB family. Peep the official Aubrey Drake Graham certificate below.
