The world got the sad news that Prince had passed yesterday and immediately, everyone took to social media to pay tribute and tell their Prince stories. As the night kept going, more and more people kept remembering the legendary singer.
Prince touched so many people, that even monuments were paying homage to him. Niagara Falls, LA City Hall, different places in Minneapolis, Hard Rock Cafe in New York City, Target Field (Minnesota Twins stadium), Google, SportsCenter, Paris, and many more.
Even artists who were scheduled to perform at concerts took the time to remember him, with Mariah Carey and Rihanna doing so, while Jennifer Hudson ended her Broadway show to “Purple Rain.” Take a look at the dedications below.

“I didn’t know if I was able to come out here and put on a show and be festive but I said I’m in Paris and that’s what Prince would want me to do. To get through it rather than just make everything bleak we need to take this and honor this. He was a friend to me too and he talked me through some times I really really needed somebody. He was an incredible person if you never got to meet him. I’m sure his music has touched every single person in here so let’s have a moment of silence for Prince.”
Live from Paris, an emotional Mariah Carey took the time to pay tribute to Prince and sang her hit with Boyz II Men to the purple one.
