Detroit rapper and Slum Village member Illa J is releasing his self-titled album in a few months. Following “Strippers” with a little help from Kaytranada back in April, Illa returns for a funky new single titled “Universe,” which like the rest of the project, is produced by by Potatahead People. The entire album will be out on October 2nd, but you can pick up the new song on iTunes, courtesy of Bastard Jazz Recordings.
