Beyoncé had the game in a chokehold around Super Bowl time, when she performed at the biggest event of the year, conveniently dropping the video for “Formation” right before.
The #BeyHive has been speculating when Bey would be dropping her new album, with the only theories centered around her world tour. Considering she’s the queen of surprise releases, most have assumed that a new project would be coming before she hits the road. Now, more clues have surfaced that make impossible to think that a new album isn’t around the corner.
Bey’s super fans noticed something today. If you go to VEVO, you can see she has 117 videos ready to watch. The only thing is, if you add the numbers at the top, they all total 130. This means she has 13 videos unlisted, giving folks suspicion about what could be going on.
If anything, whenever she drops her album, it will be on her husband’s streaming service: TIDAL.
Could the album drop tomorrow? Will it drop on Friday? Next week? Maybe. Nobody knows besides the super close knit Bey camp at this point, but keep your eyes open.
The Formation World Tour kicks off April 27 in Miami, so time is ticking.
