What a Time to be Alive!!!!
This Tuesday, JAY Z is throwing a special concert for his TIDAL service surpassing 1 million subscriptions. As it was previously reported four weeks ago for the TIDAL X: 1020’ Concert press release, Hovito would be bringing the likes of Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Prince, Lil Wayne, T.I., Usher, Fabolous, Travi$ Scott, Pusha T, Rick Ross, Nick Jonas, French Montana and Meek Mill among others. While this looks to be the biggest urban pop show we’ve seen so far this year, TIDAL may have accidentally let fans have an premature Halloween treat earlier today with a big unveiling.
On the music site’s social media page, it was revealed that Drake was one of the artists listed alongside JAY, Queen Bey and Miss Minaj. Over the summer, Drizzy was part of Tunechi’s Weezyana Fest in New Orleans, which TIDAL wasn’t able to broadcast the Toronto rapper-singer’s performance.
We’re hopeful that if this news is true, that Hov has worked out some sort of deal with Apple Music to allow streaming for Drake in 48 hours. We’ll keep you in the loop if Drizzy hits the stage.
