Keep Calm. RAGE. #TakeThePowerBack
If you’re a real Rage Against the Machine fan, then you know the group hasn’t properly put out an album this entire century – sorry, Renegades doesn’t count. After delivering the political-driven 1999 classic, The Battle of Los Angeles, the legendary rap-metal band has been on hiatus.
While the quadrant has linked up for special festival shows, including a four-year spanned reunion tour from 2007-11, the group has left fans in limbo if they would ever create new content.
That was until yesterday, when they launched a new prophetsofrage.com website, with a mysterious countdown (removed). Members of the LA collective have been quiet on rumors; but there’s also been mysterious posters appearing around their city, which a fan snapped on Twitter.
With arguably the most baffling political election ever set to take place in the history of the states, we’re not sure how Zack de la Rocha and company could miss out on this opportunity to say what the entire country is thinking. Let us know in the comments if you want a new RATM album.
