Old Soul, Young Spirit is the new project from 18-year-old Milwaukee rep IshDARR, who pieces together some eclectic production to create the canvas for his story to be told through 12 records. There’s a lot of sample-based production on this, but he’s creating a whole other experience through re-imagined sounds utilized in a completely different way than what you may have heard before. Combined with Ish’s wild, yet sharp rapping style makes this a knockout project. He’s definitely one of the brighter stars coming up today, so make sure you get on to his music while it’s still early. Expect production from Millz Douglas, Canis Major, Arthur McArthur and more.
