There’s no question whether June 18th was one of the most exciting dates for major album releases in recent times, with projects arriving from the likes of Kanye West, J. Cole, Mac Miller, Statik Selektah and many more. Although the album debuted at number two before Yeezus and maintained the same position behind Wale’s The Gifted last week, Jermaine’s Born Sinner has now officially topped the Billboard chart in the third week. After moving around 58,000 copies over the past seven days, the album has now tallied up a grand total of 439,000 sold, approximately 8,000 more in sales than Kanye’s latest work.
