Fresh off setting the Super Bowl stage on fire with a mini-comeback at the top of the month, it only took two weeks for Missy Elliott to show up on wax with an appearance. Diplo and Skrillex‘s side project Jack Ü gets a big dose of life for their single “Take Ü There,” which originally featured Keisza and now has an intriguing remix from Missy. She even blesses the track with her vocal chops, singing right before the hook after her verse, adding a little soul to the EDM track.
We’re not quite sure why she would pick this song to rock, but considering she always loves to hit fans with something they wouldn’t expect, it makes sense.
She’s been spotted in the studio with Timbaland following her Super Bowl appearance, so we’re hoping more new music is on the way this year. The world is waiting.
