Florida rapper Pierre Delince, aka Jackboy, uses plenty of bounce and bass to underpin his lyrics, drawing comparisons to his close associate. Delince got into the rap game after a brief stint in jail in his late teens, issuing his debut mixtape, Stick Up Kid, shortly after his release in 2016. The success of Jackboy’s first full-length project lead to a signing on ‘s label, Sniper Gang, in 2017. A second mixtape, New Jack City, followed, but his career was put on pause after another arrest, this time for aggravated battery and robbery. Jackboy returned two years later with his third project, 2019’s JackNDaBox, which featured , , and Piles. Later the same year, he was arrested again, although this didn’t stop him from releasing his fourth mixtape, Lost in My Head, that September.
