Is the long-awaited album really coming?
Throughout the last 12 months, we’ve seen more Jay Electronica than we can remember any time this decade. Since moving back to the states, the Roc Nation rapper has recently gone on a North American Tour last spring, as well as teasing mixtape plans with Chance the Rapper.
However, Mr. Electronica put focus back on his music, which many listeners are still in doubt will ever see the light of day. Last night, he took to social media to tease his upcoming Act I: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge) album, urging fans to subscribe to JAY Z’s music streaming service, Tidal.
During the announcement, one fan said that his subscription to the service would be ending within 40 days, as Jay told him that he should be good to hear the full project when it goes public. So if our calculations are right, it is expected to arrive mid-August, or any time before September.
Do you believe he’s telling the truth, this time?
Every great magic trick consists of three parts or acts.

The first part is called #ThePledge. The magician shows you something ordinary: a deck of cards, a bird or a M A N.
