TDE might have another classic in store for 2015!
If you loved cinematic experience of Jay Rock’s new music video “90059” Monday evening, the Watts rapper plans to continue his recent trend to the upcoming same-titled album later this fall. Sunday, the Top Dawg Entertainment representative held a private listening session for the upcoming 90059 album, as many on hand gave the project praise (we’re still waiting on that track he previewed with K. Dot). While the public still awaits an official release date, those on hand, including MTV News, spoke highlight of the album and revealed some major new regarding it.
A track featuring Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul and ScHoolboy Q was premiered during the party entitled “Vice City” (see: Grand Theft Auto) and was one of the stand-out cuts from the project. Last month, the group teased that the Black Hippy album was still in the air, but we’re hoping the four greats will make time to record music after the next phase of TDE. Stay tuned for more details to emerge on the album.
