While in New York for a 40/40 x NBA 2K13 event, Jay-Z spoke to MTV about the politics that have been surrounding him lately, only a week after holding a fundraiser for President Obama in New York City, which raised over $4 million dollars. Jay also sounded amazed when he talked about how much reach Hip-Hop actually has as a culture and how far he’s come. We know he swerved the question about a future in politics, but come on Hov: We don’t believe you, you need more people.
