So long Lala land, hello the big apple!

Last year, JAY Z made the formal announcement that his annual Philadelphia-based Labor Day Weekend Made In America Festival would have a simulcast in Los Angeles. The was soon held in the downtown LA’s Grand Park, which barely cleared many hurdles that Live Nation had to work out in time for the new two year space.

Even with Kanye West, John Mayer, Imagine Dragons and Steve Aoki all highlighting the event, both sides couldn’t come to agreement on furthering their partnership, which promoted an alternative to immediately be made for its upcoming fourth consecutive year.

New York’s Liberty Island is set to be new simulcast and will be a free concert reportedly headlined by Mary J. Blige. Look for more details to emerge in the coming days, regarding an official press release from Live Nation.
