Last week, Trick Daddy was on Clubhouse, voicing his opinion on the talent of The Carters. While not making things personal, the South Florida rep felt Beyonce couldn’t sing and that Jiggaman wasn’t all that. Soon after, he was attacked on social media by fans, but stood his own; which surprised a lot of people.
Well, this issue has been dating back to 1999, when Trick Daddy released his Suckin’ Fuckin’ music video. The track was popular on Rap City and The Box, as Trick immediately went platinum for his https://www.thug.com/ project. Well, the following year, Jay-Z’s I Just Wanna Love U, which also featured iconic late comedian, John Witherspoon.
Using the same setup, it was visible that Trick Daddy’s music video theme had be re-used by the Jiggaman. Back then, this was very serious to artists, because music videos were how they made money from word of mouth and airplay. While Trick has never publicly addressed this, most are assuming he bit his tongue about the situation before last week.
