Jeezy Talks Past Fallout with Shawty Redd on The Breakfast Club

‘Trap or die 3’ out next Friday!

In just over a week, Jeezy will be returning to the streets for the third installment of his Trap or Die series. This marks the first T.O.D. effort in six years, as the legendary Atlanta rapper teased fans what to expect yesterday with help from French Montana on his latest anthem, Going Crazy.”

Young made a stop to The Breakfast Club to open up on why it was necessary for him to break away from his socially-conscious Church in These Streets movement last year and return back to the traps.

Throughout the conversation, he briefly shared reasons why him and his go-to producer Shawty Redd had a previous falling out before reuniting this year for the upcoming album – citing how fame and large wealth was too much for them to take in during their twenties.

Jizzle also discussed how his transition from hustling to rhyming was easy once he figured out a lane to move in; and inspiring a few notable rappers presently, who pattern their careers after his.

Watch more from the interview, where Young also opens up on why JAY Z didn’t make an appearance his new album (although he loves it), being the first person not named Dr. Dre to help break a Los Angeles artist; plus clarifying his Makaveli and Donald Trump comparisons.
