Los Angeles newcomer Jens Kuross is getting ready to release his debut self-titled EP at the end of the month. So far, he’s introduced himself with the songs “Steadier” and “No Problem,” and they’re impossible to categorize. We’ll say he falls somewhere between Thom Yorke and James Blake for now.
This week, he’s sharing his first video for a new single called “Try to Follow.” The moody black and white clip — directed by Luigi Campi — finds Jens at his longing best over a bassy intrumental that transforms into something Youth Lagoon would make in parts. Jens is literally trying his best to follow his girl through flashes in the night.
