It’s been quite some time since the “Leave (Get Out)” songstress first emerged on the scene, and while her hiatus has kept her away from the audience she once had, it hasn’t been by her design. Miss Info met up with JoJo after her Vitamin Water/FADER performance at a New York townhouse to discuss what her hectic life has been life during recent years. JoJo talks about what her first single really did for her career, why her “Marvin’s Room” remix got her back out into the spotlight thanks to some help from Chad Hugo and Noah “40” Shebib, and while she couldn’t get into much detail, she gave some insight to her legal situation with her current record label and why it’s keeping her from letting her music get to the masses.
Her return is something I, myself, have been looking forward to, and the same could be said to anyone who’s followed her over the years. Check out the interview in full after the jump.
