Touching performance
If you weren’t aware ahead of time, “Save My Soul” is a very personal song for JoJo. It deals with addiction and the feeling of being powerless, which stems from some family problems she’s experienced the past few years. As you can hear in the beginning of the clip, she explains a little of what the Triangle EP single is about (for those who didn’t know), right before going into the acoustic performance.
This is also not a pre-recorded performance. It’s raw vocals and emotion from the singer.
