Nearly four years ago, listeners thought Juelz Santana would stay an active name in the rap world, when his God Will’n mixtape dropped. However, the original member of the Diplomats took the past few years to focus on his children, while still cooking up material in the studio.
Earlier this month, Santana teased releases for God Will’n 2 and the resurrection of his classic street series, Back Like Cooked Crack. Here, the Harlem rapper reflects on receiving criticism over recent years in the new track “Up In The Studio (Gettin Blown Freestyle)” – including the infamous studio feds studio radio, where tons of music was confiscated.
