Speaking words of wisdom
Real talk, we were ready condemn Justin Bieber to the depths of Hades for covering the timeless classic by The Beatles. It tripped us out because the video started with him playing a sped-up version of the Super Mario theme song on the grand piano (live in Toronto). Then he warms up the fingers and gets into “Let It Be” to everyone’s surprise. We’re actually shocked at how many people knew the song, considering teeny boppers are the majority of Biebs stans. They can’t possibly know 45-year old songs, right? Shoutout to the Canada youth.
Either way, he kinda went in. Mother Mary came to him. It wasn’t a complete travesty.
Justin has been comfortably cruising in success thanks to his new album Purpose, breaking records with ease, taking over television and the dominating Billboard charts this past year. He’s well on his way to having a good start in 2016 as the campaign continues.
BONUS: Bieberelly covered Drake’s “Hotline Bling” too.
