One look at Kali Uchis and you wouldn’t expect the music that comes out of the speakers or her vocal talents. All appearances aside, her new single “Loner” is more than soulful and her haunting background vocals set the stage for something smooth to smoke to. In the video, Kali can be seen alone inside of a hotel room, at the drive-in and outside of it, because sometimes it’s better to be alone than with someone else.
Is it just us or does this track sound eerily similar to something Amy Winehouse would make?
