Kano and Damon Albarn go back a long way. They’ve collaborated on Gorillaz records and Kano’s own tracks like “Feel Free,” “Bassment” and more recently “Deep Blues” on his brand new album Made in the Manor. We actually got to see them perform together at the Royal Albert Hall in London back in 2014.
The pair sat down for a new episode of Noisey’s Back & Forth series, which has artists who are good friends having a general chat. The spoke on their table tennis rivalry, getting bottles thrown at them, their acting careers and Kanye West’s social media presence. The whole thing ended talking about Chelsea, where Damon bet Kano £100 for them to get to the Champions League final.
Last night’s result against PSG made Kano £100 richer.
