Kanye West has explained to TMZ why he’s pushed back his Yandhi album from September 29th to November 23rd.
Plain and simple, he didn’t finish it. However, Kanye was inspired so much by his return to Chicago that he’s going to Africa to record the rest of the project. He wants to grab the soil, cook five meals a day, have the mic in the open and hear nature while he’s recording. “I’m so happy about what’s happening,” he says. “Just to give the people the full Ye. Because a lot of people say there hasn’t been albums as good as ‘Watch the Throne,’ ‘Dark Fantasy’ and ‘808s’ since that time.”
“The alien ‘Ye is like fully back in mode, off of medication. You know, working out, breathing as much fresh air as possible. Thinking, doing, being his self. And when I say ‘I’m being myself,’ it doesn’t mean that I’m being Donald Trump. I’m being me and I’m punk. And I can wear whatever I want ’cause I’m a God.”
In addition to the music, he also clarifies he comments about the 13th Amendment.
this represents good and America becoming whole again. We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs. We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment. Message sent with love pic.twitter.com/a15WqI8zgu
