New Year. New Album Title
It seems like the title of SWISH has officially been dead, as Kanye West has decided to change the name —yet again— now going with Waves. As many folks may remember, this is the third time Yeezy does this, with the original title still being the best out of the three, So Help Me God. Also, this comes ONE DAY after he revealed the tracklist for SWISH.
With the hype surrounding G.O.O.D. Friday‘s and the upcoming effort at an all-time high, ‘Ye has been doing his part to keep things on another level, even taking to Twitter to claim the project is “the album of life.” Whether you choose to believe that, is on you.
Either way, stop calling the forthcoming album SWISH because that shit has been RIP’d.
UPDATE: There’s a new tracklist and plenty of new names that have popped up for the effort in light of the new name. Chance The Rapper, Earl Sweatshirt, Mike Dean, The-Dream, Swizz Beatz, Plain Pat, A$AP Rocky and more are slated to appear.
New album title, WAVES
