So much for them ending that beef. . .
Kanye West Responds Drake ‘Betrayal’ diss song, confirming plans to release DONDA the same day as OVO Sound rolls out CLB. Last night, Trippie Redd quietly snuck out his Betrayal song, which was mysteriously left off his original TRIP at KNIGHT album on Thursday.
For good reason (no pun intended), the track featured Drizzy taking shots at his arch nemesis on the cut.
Drake went to say in the last verse, “All these fools I’m beefin’ that I barely know, Forty-five, forty-four (Burned out), let it go, Ye ain’t changin’ shit for me, it’s set in stone.”
This is in response to Kanye’s DONDA album being delayed, as he wants to release it on the same day as Drake’s Certified Lover Boy album. Essentially, Drake’s saying he’ll sell more than Yeezy, which will be the second time this happens in their career.
If you remember in 2018, Ye dropped around the same time as The Boy; with Ye coming out around Scorpion. We’re sure the OVO Sound crew isn’t taking lightly to the expected competition from Kanye, who will be using all avenues to sell his units.
