WE GONE BE ALRIGHT!
Unless you stay in Maryland or were around the area this past weekend, you probably weren’t even aware they held the Sweetlife Festival at the Merriweather Post Pavilion. The lineup looked solid, though. Artists like Vic Mensa, The Weeknd, Phantogram and SZA all rocked the stage. One of the highlights was also Kendrick Lamar, who performed new tracks from To Pimp A Butterfly and his last album good kid m.A.A.d city.
Up top you can watch him rock the stage with the TPAB standout “Alright,” but even better, he brought out a fan on stage to perform “m.A.A.d city” in front of the crowd as well. Some dude tried to play off like he knew the song at first and after he got kicked off the stage for fronting, K Dot brought up a shorty who did her thing performing with him. Watch that below.
