Kendrick Covers The Latest Issue of Billboard

At this point, it’s fair to say the world is patiently waiting on the next chapter from Kendrick Lamar, following the success of good kid, m.A.A.d city and his “Control” verse. The TDE member is on the latest cover of Billboard magazine, as he prepares to write the next part of his career. Within the story, K. Dot shows support for Iggy Azalea, wishes success for Macklemore and shares appreciation for the GRAMMYs.

Check out what he had to say about Ferguson and the end of days below:

“I wish somebody would look in our neighborhood knowing that it’s already a situation, mentally, where it’s fucked up. What happened to [Michael Brown] should’ve never happened. Never. But when we don’t have respect for ourselves, how do we expect them to respect us? It starts from within. Don’t start with just a rally, don’t start from looting—it starts from within.”

“We’re in the last days, man—I truly in my heart believe that. It’s written. I could go on with Biblical situations and things my grandma told me. But it’s about being at peace with myself and making good with the people around me.”
