In the latest of Google play’s “Favorite Things” series, Kendrick Lamar was the next guest on to discuss some of his favorite things as he shared his top two albums from 2012. Here the comptom emcee paid homage to Nas with the release of his eleventh studio album “Life Is Good” stating he felt Nas kept his longevity alive this long after 18 years with no change lyrically, storytelling, and creativity at elite status.
For his second favorite album of 2012, he dedicated those honors to Frank Ocean’s “Channel Orange” which he felt the complete body of work on the album was flawless with a male vocalist giving story telling in his music with great concepts for the R&B genre.
