GQ’s December cover star, Kendrick Lamar was featured for their new 2013 men of the year series. The monthly men’s magazine has dubbed the GQ rapper of the year, off the strength of his debut opus good kid, m.A.A.d city and popular controversial verse of Big Sean’s “Control” track during the summer. In the video after the jump, we take a look at the behind-the-scenes process of his photo shoot, which he spits a freestyle in the process of getting ready to grace the new cover.
