Kendrick Lamar Interviews N.W.A. For Billboard Magazine

The World’s Most Dangerous Group Opens Up to K Dot

We are one day away from the release of the N.W.A. movie Straight Outta Compton and all the members seem to be everywhere nowadays. From Rolling Stone to Billboard, the hype is getting realer and realer. This cover story is a little different, in the sense that they had someone who stands up for the new generation in L.A. (Kendrick Lamar) interview the group and soak up knowledge from them.

From the start, K Dot had plenty of questions about how to survive in the industry, the ups and downs of their experience and how they knew they weren’t local artists anymore, but Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren and DJ Yella also talked about the vibe in the studio, what they want their legacy to be and hoe Eazy E was.

This is a very interesting watch, so if you have 25 minutes to spare, we suggest you press play. The video only works through computer device, though. If you’re on a mobile device, you can read about it all over at Billboard.
