If you weren’t in Times Square New York today, you probably didn’t catch the Beats by Dre world premiere of Kendrick Lamar‘s “King Kunta” video, but thanks to the power of the Internet, the video is here. The visual was shot in his hometown of Compton at the same location where he saw 2pac decades earlier and takes it back to the OG days of West Coast rap, with low-low’s, block parties and plenty of dancing. As he told various radio stations in interviews this week, he said he wanted to have fun with it and bring his city a part of what they don’t get to see often.
