Kendrick Lamar Pays Homage To Lil Wayne In the Studio

Artists and fans have come out flocking since Lil Wayne hinted at retirement, just to show support for the legendary rapper. Drake and Young Thug came out and gave their opinion on the situation, vowing to stand behind Weezy during this tough time.

Now, Kendrick Lamar is showing his support for the Cash Money rapper with a video live from the studio. In the clip, K Dot can be seen rapping select Weezy tracks from the early days (the Hot Boys days when he was 15 and 16 years old), going through some of his favorites in between doing features for other people. Then he mentioned something about his retirement, saying he’s not with it.

Dot kept rapping even more verses, getting way into character. Maybe this encourages Wayne from not going on hiatus and sticking to the rap game. At least drop Carter V!
