Kendrick Lamar Speaks On Career Timeline

In the latest episode of the Kendrick Lamar and Vevo “lift” series, the Compton emcee speaks on his early career in music as he started rapping at the tender age of 13 and immediately fell in love with the high he got off from doing and hearing his own music.

He also goes into detail about linking up with Top Dawg for the first time thus creating his buzz around the country leading to his crowning as the leader of the new school by West Coast vets like Dre, Snoop, Game and Kurupt; which he saw his life flashing through his eyes. Then this year being on stage with Dre at Coachella which he felt was a new life being in front of 100,000 people.

We’re just under five weeks away from the major label debut album “good kid m.A.A.d City” which hits streets October 22nd.
