In 2014, Prince brought out Kendrick Lamar at Paisley Park for a special performance. Turns out, the Purple One almost jumped on a song with K Dot around that time. As Kung Fu Kenny tells Howard Stern, he forgot about the record after that performance because there was so much going on at the time and he was just living in the moment. He did manage to play him “Complexion,” though.
In his interview with the huge radio personality, he also talked about getting the call from Dr. Dre at Chilli’s, and the story of Top Dawg and Kendrick’s pops.
