Kendrick Lamar’s “Death To Molly” Message Explained

It probably came as a surprise to most, but Kendrick Lamar’s message in his “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” video was not subtle at all (see: “Death To Molly”). In his sit down with Sway for MTV, Kendrick explains that this is one of the terms that needs to be put to rest because it’s corny and waters down to culture. He goes on to mention that some rappers out there might rap about molly, but don’t really live that lifestyle.

Some trends he approved of that rap spawned? Jerseys and button ups.

If you peeped that Black Hippy “U.O.E.N.O.” remix yesterday, ScHoolboy Q had a little something to say about molly in his verse too.
