Kunta’s Groove Sessions have been in full effect through numerous cities across the nation. At Terminal 5 in New York City last week, Kendrick Lamar took the stage to let off some shit that’s been on his chest during an interlude between songs.
He told the crowd To Pimp A Butterfly will only be performed in the few select cities of the tour for the first and last time and thanked fans for the success of the album even though they didn’t have a large marketing campaign. He also said making the album was therapy for him and explained how life has changed since his debut album good kid m.A.A.d city.
