Thanks to Yours Truly and Adidas Originals’ ‘Songs from Scratch’ series, we’ve seen a bunch of collaborations that might not have happened otherwise. For the latest release, El Paso artist Khalid and Brooklyn producers Brasstracks have teamed up for a superb new track titled “Whirlwind.”
Khalid is one of 2016’s breakout artists, with songs like “Let’s Go,” “Hopeless,” and the biggest of them all, “Location,” putting him on the map. Brasstracks also has a great year, releasing their Good Love EP and producing Chance The Rapper’s “No Problem.”
