To commemorate the fact that Indicud went live on iTunes for pre-order, KiD CuDi decided to give fans a treat before the April 23 release of his album, by releasing his Too $hort-featured single. This song has been a long time coming (especially after watching this Too $hort freestyle so many times) and one we were curious about. We’re not quite sure why he didn’t use the freestyle beat to begin with, because it would have been perfect for the two. It was literally screaming out a $hort Dog verse.
After a few listens to “Girls,” we finally figured out the sample and we believe it came from the movie The Ringer. If you watch this clip of a scene from the film, you can clearly see the two have the same chorus. I see pretty girls, everywhere I go!
