Unless you really have your ear to the streets in Los Angeles, the name King Lil G will not be familiar to you, but don’t get it twisted, he’s really buzzing right now. Hailing from South Central, he released his album ’90s Kid back in March and has gaining even more of a following since. Although Hispanic artists in Hip-Hop don’t get much love online, after checking out some of his videos (most notably “96”), its apparent that Lil G is a product of the 90s and he doesn’t sound like your typical Spanish rapper. Shit, we’re out here bumping that classic music like he’s talking about in the hook. All day every day.
