The L.A. Reid era at Epic Records has come to an end. The chairman of the label is leaving after six years under the company. During his time there, he added some superstar talent, bringing in artists like Future, DJ Khaled, Travis Scott and helped with the release of A Tribe Called Quest‘s final album.

Just recently, Khaled’s new single “I’m The One” with Chance The Rapper, Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber and Quavo broke Apple Music records and has reached a No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
There are no details as to who he will take his place or where he will be headed next.
