We all know Lauryn Hill‘s The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill is a classic album. It garnered plenty of accolades after it dropped, but now, 23 years after the fact it has reached another milestone. According to the RIAA, the album is now certified diamond, meaning it moved over 10 million units in the U.S.
With the news, this makes L-Boogie the first female rapper in the world to reach diamond certification.

Released in 1998, Lauryn debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and broke a first-week sales record by a female artist at the time. Following its release, it earned 10 GRAMMY nominations and won five awards in total. In 2015, it was also added to the Library of Congress in the National Recording Registry.
It was the only album that L-Boogie has released.
