At this point the guys over at Jet Life maybe competing on who can drop the most music on a consistent basis. One of the new faces of Texas, LE$, just dropped a solid album/ep back in November Shrimp and Steak Vol. 2, but just that quick he’s back with another full length release.
Steak and Shrimp Vol. 2 was a laid back tape that LE$ is known for where he talks about riding slabs, his favorite choice of cologne, lean and everything else that Houston culture is known for. It actually stands as one of the most solid projects in the catalog of LE$, who drops mixtapes quite frequently.
Today, he’s back with Dreamcast, a tape he’s been teasing for a week or two now and now we get to hear what he’s been cooking up. The tracks on the album go hand in hand with it’s title with names such as “GTA 2,” “Soul Calibur,” “Sonic Adventure,” “Crazy Taxi,” and more names that are titles of video games. DJ Mr. Rogers is the host of the tape and most likely behind the boards the entire project, as LE$ revealed on Twitter that it was made in one night. That’s pretty insane to say the least.
