Lil B – I’m The Bada$$
In one of the more unlikely confrontations in terms of music, the collision of Lil B and Joey Bada$$ may come as a sudden surprise to you. I mean, what do they possibly have in common aside from rapping? After Joey tweeted “Tell the @LILBTHEBASEDGOD dont quit his day job!!,” a line from Capital STEEZ’s verse on “Survival Tactics,” Lil B didn’t seem to mind about what was said. However shortly after, the Californian rapper took to YouTube to release a diss track titled “I’m The Bada$$,” which was specifically aimed at the young spitter. The action unsurprisingly sparked a lot of attention from the Internet, along with various tweets (some with comedy value) going back and forth between the two.
Joey Bada$$ – Don’t Quit Your Day Job
Just a matter of hours after, New York’s Joey Bada$$ returned with an exclusive Lee Bannon-produced track titled “Don’t Quit Your Day Job”, which notably appeared to be over a minute longer than Lil B’s effort. Along with posting the song on SoundCloud, he left a personal message stating “RIP to Lil B’s career.” As you may have expected, Joey arrived with a mature response over his usual well-bodied production. Whether the two will continue to lengthen the process is unknown, but the choice is now is in Lil B’s hands.
