We’ve been hearing Lil Wop on his horrorcore shit for a minute, but instead of him moving out of that theme, he’s actually put his foot on the gas and kept going with it. “The Purge” might be the most horror we’ve heard from Lil Hoarse thus far, as he sounds like a demon has possessed him and taken over his raps. The beat is straight out of the soundtrack for scary movie soundtrack, but those aggressive bars is what separates this song from others in Wop’s catalog.
