It may be hard to believe, but it’s been nearly five years since Lily Allen released her brilliant sophomore album It’s Not Me, It’s You. Since then, we haven’t heard much outside from several features, but the London singer returns today with the release of her brand new video for “Hard Out Here,” moving on from her vocals being the soundtrack to the 2013 annual John Lewis advert. Paying homage to Three 6 Mafia’s memorable “Hard Out Here For A Pimp,” Lily looks to take a number of jabs at the current music industry by sucking bananas and being surrounded by people twerking. Lily certainly hasn’t lost her charm.
