It’s been over six years since Lion Babe came onto the scene with “Treat Me Like Fire,” and we remember it like it was yesterday. Today, the NYC duo of Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman are back with their second album titled Cosmic Wind. While their 2016 debut Begin had a lone feature from Childish Gambino, this time around, they’ve recruited Raekwon, Bilal and Leikeli47.
“‘Cosmic Wind’ is centered on transformation,” they said. “Growth has occurred in our personal and musical lives, and you can experience that growth sonically, visually and lyrically in our new album. We have honed in our sound and aesthetic, and are embracing our love for soul and groove from past to present.”
