Nearly three weeks since the horrific incident happened, the family of Pop Smoke are still without closure – regarding his unfortunate death. The LAPD’s murder investigation has hit a road block, as stories of witnesses around Pop Smoke don’t match up; leading them to believe that something else may have occurred.
Due to nobody being nearby the Brooklyn rapper’s house when the incident happened, they have no neutral witness. The LAPD has even gone to track people down to the east coast, in hopes of breaking the investigation of open but things don’t look good.
However, before higher powers of authority step in, the LAPD now believes the murder was a targeted hit, as none of the masked men took anything from his mansion. While they wait for motives and possible leads to come out, unknown Los Angeles Crips are speaking out on the situation.
Although the masses on the west coast are yet to address things, they believe the situation was an inside job – considering Pop was in the safe zone for out of towners.
