Last Friday was the eighth anniversary of Lupe Fiasco’s album, The Cool. While the Chicago rapper has hinted at the project coming in recent months, he revealed it won’t release until winter 2017; which non-coincidentally is the 10-year anniversary for the original effort. In the midst of teasing listeners their lengthy wait time, he did real some album artwork for the LP, giving fans one of their last updates on the project for quite some time. It’s unclear whether an inevitable project will arrive next year from Lu, but we now know The Cool 2 will indeed arrive during December 2017.
