We have to admit, we really didn’t like the commercial branded “MGK” name he was advised to use for cross-over appeal; but now the Cleveland emcee is reverting back to his original Machine Gun Kelly name with a new project “Black Flag” in the works. While we still wait on the long-awaited first single “Peso” with Pusha T and Meek Mill for his sophomore album, we get his latest visuals with “Skate Cans.”
As you would expect, the visuals emphasis features some street tricks on the board as he got pro-skater Ryan Sheckler for the music video as the two sneak into “Hollywood High” and showcase some of their talents. We’re at least intrigued to say the least what MGK has in store for his upcoming mixtape “Black Flag” dropping next month as he’s shying back to his hardcore lyricism as long-time fans like ourselves to look out for.
